Beyond artisanship found in the restoration of historical stone buildings, Damian’s designs are informed by studies in architecture, sociology and theatre.<\/p>\n

These eclectic influences have led to true stone design<\/strong>, where Damian explores the effect of different stone proportions<\/em><\/a>, arrangements<\/em> and textures<\/em><\/a> upon the human experience of space.<\/p>\n

Vitruvius, in Rome 2,100 years ago, described this intangible sensation as venustas<\/em>, or \u2018spatial delight\u2019.<\/p>\n

The goal of true stone design<\/strong> is to ask of each space one question:<\/span>\n<\/div>\n
